What is a Bildungsroman in Literature?

You should have come across this word a "bildungsroman" someplace whilst reading books or literature. It's a German term which denotes a "novel of education". The term was initial coined by Johann Carl Simon Morgenstern. Gradually and Slowly, it came on the surface throughout the German Enlightenment.
