Art, Man, and the Connection

Man is an image maker. He presents pictures of himself to himself as effectively as to his fellow man. He creates pictures of his globe, as he perceives it to be or desires it to be. He creates his personal realities. Art is Yet a single way by means of which he pictures. And all of this image producing is inside his idea of time and its partnership to these photos he has selected to create.

Art, no matter its type, is an abstraction of image. However, we need to bear in mind image itself is a distortion. In spite of that distortion, image has its center in reality. Reality has its base in expertise and expertise has man's perceptions of that reality. And therein lies a query.

Those perceptions, all of them, have time as their descriptor. To render understanding to any perform of art, 1 need to be conscious, need to be cogent, of its partnership to each a microcosmic and a macrocosmic view.

Each views, microcosmic and macrocosmic, are held by man as he reflects upon what he apprehends as becoming real. In essence, this implies even his pictures of reality are abstractions. The query pointed out in a earlier paragraph could now be stated: Is something real or is it all merely image?

The answer is, just place, yes. Those photos are real since man renders them so. He does this rendering, what ever his medium, according to his perceptions. And those are connected to sequence and sequence is dependent upon his concept of time, that is, previous, present, and future. Man is, just after all, "the measure of all points"... of factors of his globe. The globe reflects man's photos and he responds to these photos as they are reflected back to him. Mirrors all!
